Founded in 2010, Templar Guitarworks is a small, American electric guitar company located in Tempe, Arizona. Our focus is to build the finest hand crafted instruments for the Rock, Metal and Punk musician. Our goal is to design, build and deliver an instrument that feels, plays and sounds like no other. And it doesn't hurt if they look amazing as well. And look amazing they do. Right away the lines and curves scream Templar.  Each high end Templar guitar has a look that is unmistakably ours. We design in series so that all models in a given product range possess the same design elements. The result is a family of instruments that are easily recognizable as siblings from the Templar genealogy.

 At Templar we believe in using the most state of the art componentry, coupled with superior “Old
World” craftsmanship. This approach produces instruments like no other. We keep ourselves up to date on the latest advances in hardware from the leaders in the industry and assimilate their technologies into every guitar we design and build. We test and employ all the newest pickups, bridges and tuners in order to provide a product to our customers with the smallest amount of player modification. Every Templar guitar, delivered and unboxed will look like you want, play like you want and sound like you want!

Each Templar guitar is handmade, one at a time, by musicians, for musicians, insuring the greatest
play ability, best sound, and the most attention to detail. We use a CNC machine to rough cut our bodies, then finish them off by hand. Our necks are 100% hand carved and finished. Every instrument is slightly different as every set of hands is. As we are a very small operation, each guitar is in our few hands for a considerably longer amount of time than our competitors. It is not passed around from station to station, every few hours to another worker preforming an individual task. We become intimate with each and every instrument we craft. We know it. We feel it. No two are exactly the same. They are as individual as the musicians who play them. 

Once construction is completed, it’s time to finish the guitar. We offer a wide variety of original finishes to choose from. Choose the finish which best suites your taste and make a statement just by pulling your Templar out of its case. Whether you choose one of our many painted finishes or go with one of our premium transparent maple tops, we offer a high gloss, durable guitar finish that will please you for many years to come.

Before a Templar is polished and boxed, it is put through our inspection processes. Every Templar guitar is played, by us, as you would, with our hands, using our ears before it is turned over to yours. Please remember, at Templar, we are not only luthiers, but players as well.
